Marking the 50th anniversary of the composer’s death, this edition presents, across 28 CDs, his 15 symphonies, chamber symphonies, concertos, chamber music, string quartets, jazz ballet and film music, as well as 24 preludes and fugues. Performers include the WDR Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and the Rubio Quartet, among others.
