A Brilliant Classics release has been included in the longlist for the German Record Critics' Award in the Early Music category.

Vivaldi's violin concertos are characterized by brilliant virtuosity, rhythmic vitality, and a clear sense of form and contrast. Presented here, on 13 CDs, are interpretations of the concertos op. 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12 with violinist Federico Guglielmo and his ensemble L'Arte dell'arco.

Pianist Ciro Longobardi has recorded all of Olivier Messiaen's piano works; in January, Brilliant Classics will release them for the first time as a complete edition in a 7-CD set.
